Bank of Baroda Announces 5,000 Apprentice Vacancies: Application Process Now Open

Mumbai, May 19: A significant opportunity has emerged for job seekers in the banking sector. Bank of Baroda (BOB) has officially announced 5,000 apprentice positions across various states and union territories, offering a one-year training program.

The application process for these vacancies commenced online on Tuesday, with the deadline set for June 8. Interested and eligible candidates can complete their registration on the official National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal before the deadline.

Applicants must possess a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized institution or university, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is 28 years, calculated as of May 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on an online examination, document verification, a test in the local language of the state, medical fitness, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the designated application fee according to their category. The fee is ₹200 plus applicable GST for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates. For General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) male candidates, the fee is ₹800 plus applicable taxes, while female and transgender candidates from the same categories will pay ₹600 plus applicable taxes.
