Ayodhya, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : The construction of the International Ram Katha Museum in Ayodhya is gaining momentum, with tenders for 20 galleries expected to be issued starting October 10. Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Construction Committee, shared this update during a media briefing on September 15.
Mishra emphasized that discussions regarding the museum would take place in the upcoming meetings. He noted that significant work on the museum is about to begin, with each gallery already themed and storylines finalized.
The committee’s director, Sanjeev Kumar Singh, has dedicated considerable effort to crafting the narratives for the museum. Based on this foundation, immersive technologies, including 3D video presentations, will be developed. Tenders for the necessary hardware and software are also anticipated to be released by October 10, with finalization expected by the end of the month. Once awarded, it will take approximately six months to complete the galleries.
Mishra expressed confidence in the development of Ayodhya, highlighting the state government’s ongoing efforts and contributions from other agencies. Regarding the temple complex, he mentioned that the trust will determine the nature of the construction, emphasizing that decisions will be guided by the needs and convenience of the devotees.
He also pointed out that while the temple construction has been completed, work on an auditorium within the temple complex is ongoing. This aspect has experienced delays of about three to four months, but there is optimism that it will be finished by January or February.
Mishra reiterated that Ayodhya will see significant development, driven by both the state government and various agencies, with a focus on meeting the needs of the worshippers.
