Ayodhya, June 26: Saints in Ayodhya are expressing outrage over the FIR related to the Ram Temple donation case. They have raised objections regarding the absence of prominent trust members’ names in the FIR. The saints labeled the trust members as “thieves,” asserting that divine justice will prevail.
Mahant Dharmdas of Hanumangarhi reacted sharply to the FIR filed by the trust, calling them “thieves.” He expressed confidence that God will ultimately decide the matter. In a conversation, Mahant Dharmdas stated, “The trust itself is involved in this issue. They are the ones filing the FIR. This indicates how much is right and how much is wrong. We believe that God will make the final decision.”
He emphasized that the person in charge is responsible for all matters, and no staff member gets implicated. The main accountability lies with those who hold significant responsibilities. “Even a single penny stolen is theft. Now, the thieves are shouting ‘thief-thief’,” he remarked.
Mahant Dharmdas further claimed that the trust has been involved in irregularities since the stone worship ceremony. He added, “We donated to the Ram Janmabhoomi Seva Samiti, and without consulting us, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was formed. This trust has worked to strip the rights of Ayodhya’s saints.”
Priest Ramesh Das of Hanumangarhi expressed gratitude towards the central and state governments. He stated that if any individual is found guilty after the SIT’s report and investigation, action should be taken against them. “This is the right step,” he said.
Swami Karpatri Maharaj also raised questions about the FIR, stating, “I am not satisfied with the FIR, as the main culprits are not being targeted. Only minor individuals are facing action. I am also not satisfied with the SIT investigation, as it seems that those responsible for the major discrepancies are being shielded.”
Karpatri Maharaj urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to ensure a thorough investigation of the case and take action against the guilty parties.
