Ayodhya, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : In Ayodhya, on September 17, Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad has sharply responded to remarks made by Nishad Party leader and minister Sanjay Nishad. Nishad had claimed that his party does not need the support of the Samajwadi Party (SP). Prasad countered that it is actually Nishad who is in need of support, suggesting he is navigating a “sinking boat.”
Prasad emphasized that those accusing others of relying on support should reflect on their own circumstances. He expressed concern over Nishad’s political stability, indicating that he too is searching for a solid foundation.
On a different note, Prasad extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both on his own behalf and on behalf of the Samajwadi Party. He prayed for the Prime Minister’s health and happiness.
Additionally, Prasad expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming PDA Grand Conference to be held at the GIC Ground in Agra. He congratulated the national president of the Samajwadi Party for organizing the event, encouraging all associated with the PDA to participate in large numbers to ensure its success. He believes the conference will significantly amplify the voices of social justice and marginalized communities, including the backward classes, Dalits, and minorities.
Questioning the promises made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government to provide employment to one lakh people before the 2027 assembly elections, Prasad labeled it an “election stunt.” He recalled Modi’s previous commitments to create two crore jobs annually and deposit 15 lakh rupees into citizens’ bank accounts, which remain unfulfilled years later.
Prasad asserted that the public has grown wise to the BJP government’s unfulfilled promises and is no longer inclined to trust such claims. He stated that the hopes of the people in the state are now aligned with the Samajwadi Party and the PDA.
The SP MP confidently predicted that the Samajwadi Party would form the government in Uttar Pradesh in 2027, with Akhilesh Yadav as Chief Minister. He promised that their government would provide government jobs for youth, annual financial assistance of 40,000 rupees for women, and additional benefits for farmers. Prasad assured that the Samajwadi Party would deliver on its commitments.
In closing, he took aim at the BJP, stating that if they manage to secure even 50 seats in the upcoming assembly elections, it would be a remarkable surprise.
