Arshad Warsi and Sharman Joshi Recreate Iconic Scene from 2006

Mumbai, May 14: Director Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’ franchise is set to make a hilarious comeback on screen. On Thursday, actor Arshad Warsi shared a sneak peek of the upcoming film, igniting excitement among fans for the next installment.

In a nostalgic twist, Arshad Warsi recreated the iconic race car competition scene from the 2006 film ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited.’ The video features actor Sharman Joshi alongside him, utilizing a clever transition technique.

Rohit, Arshad, and Sharman revisited the memorable scene where Arshad, portraying Madhav, and Sharman, as Lakshman, engage in a comical car race to win the heart of a girl named Nirali.

In this special scene, Sharman’s character, disguised as a woman, and Madhav are seen in a race car exchanging greetings. The video transitions from their characters 20 years ago to the present, showcasing the famous hand-waving scene once again.

Sharing the video, Arshad wrote, “20 years have passed, but nothing has changed. Golmaal still leads in making you laugh and entertain.”

Meanwhile, Rohit shared, “We are embarking on a journey down memory lane. How old were you when you first watched Golmaal? We promise, you will soon relive those joyful days… shooting is ongoing.”

Sharman Joshi commented, “This is the ultimate throwback.” Directed by Rohit Shetty, the comedy ‘Golmaal 5’ stars Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. The film will bring back its original stars, including Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, and Shreyas Talpade, with Sharman Joshi making his return as well. Filming has commenced in Ooty.
