Jaipur, Thursday, 28 August 2025 : Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, visited Rashtriya Military School (RMS), Ajmer, on 28 August 2025.
During his visit, the Army Commander undertook a comprehensive tour of the school, inspecting the academic, training, and residential facilities. He was briefed about the various initiatives implemented for the all-round development of cadets, with special focus on academics, military training, discipline, and character-building. Lt Gen Seth praised the high standards maintained by the institution and appreciated the efforts of the faculty and staff in shaping cadets into future leaders of the Armed Forces.
The General Officer also released the school’s annual magazine ‘Abhivyakti’, which highlights the literary, creative, and extracurricular achievements of the cadets. He felicitated students who excelled in academics, sports, cultural activities, and inter-school competitions, commending their hard work and dedication.
A major highlight of the visit was Lt Gen Seth’s interaction with the cadets. He engaged them in discussions about their aspirations, challenges, and future goals, encouraging them to speak openly. He responded to their questions with practical advice, stressing the importance of patriotism, discipline, leadership, resilience, and self-reliance. He reminded them, “Discipline and hard work are the true keys to success; once imbibed, no goal in life remains unattainable.”
The Army Commander’s visit infused the school environment with renewed motivation and pride, leaving the cadets inspired and determined to strive for excellence and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the service of the Nation.
