Arbaaz Patel Reflects on Controversial Moments with Shiv Thakare in The 50

Mumbai, March 30: Arbaaz Patel, a contestant on the Colors reality TV show ‘The 50’, recently shared his thoughts on the intense moments he experienced with fellow contestant Shiv Thakare. While Thakare emerged as the winner of the show, Patel’s gameplay garnered significant attention and discussion on social media.

In an exclusive interview, Patel addressed the physical altercation with Thakare, asserting that he did nothing wrong. “If someone else were in my position, they would have reacted the same way,” he stated.

When asked about his aggressive entry into the show, Patel explained, “It’s part of my natural personality. People often perceive me as aggressive and strong, but I only act this way towards those who deserve it. I treat good people well. It takes a lot of effort to develop this persona. While people see my dominance, they often overlook the hard work behind it. Becoming strong requires immense dedication, and I have put in that effort.”

Patel further emphasized his commitment to honesty, saying, “If being true to myself causes me harm, I have no objections. I believe in expressing my thoughts without fear. I prefer to address issues directly and resolve them immediately.”

Regarding his entry into the show alongside Nikki Tamboli, Patel clarified that they were invited as a couple. “We attended the meeting together, and that was how our entry was decided. People enjoyed seeing us together, so we entered as a pair.”

On the topic of alliances in the competition, Patel noted that the game could not be played without them. “After entering the show, we realized this. Both Nikki and I have strong personalities. We express our opinions, and while disagreements occur, they are natural in any competition.”

When asked if entering the show with a partner was a disadvantage, he disagreed. “I would never call it a disadvantage. It is always beneficial for me. We strengthen each other. If I get stuck, she helps me, and vice versa. That’s why people see us as a strong pair.”

Patel described the emotional impact of seeing a loved one during the show. “When someone close comes in, the first feeling is emotional. It brings comfort, but the game continues. Circumstances may change, but the game remains.”

Reflecting on the altercation with Thakare, Patel stated, “If someone were in my position and saw their partner crying, they would react similarly. I intervened because things were getting too heated. I didn’t intend to fight, but emotions ran high. When it escalates to physical confrontation, I don’t hold back. I react emotionally, regardless of whether I’m on a show or outside. My response would be the same in any situation.”

Regarding Thakare’s victory, Patel remarked, “It’s luck that he won, but if I had reached the finals, I would have given my best to win.” When asked about marriage with Nikki, he mentioned that they would focus on their careers for a while before making any decisions.
