Anurag Dhanda Responds to Raghav Chadhas Exit from AAP: Good Riddance to Traitors

New Delhi, April 25: Anurag Dhanda, the national media in-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), reacted to Raghav Chadha’s decision to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In an interview on Saturday, he stated that BJP members are currently fearful of AAP, especially given the party’s growing influence in Gujarat. He accused the BJP of using investigative agencies, including the Enforcement Directorate (ED), to harass AAP leaders. “The public will not accept such tactics at any cost. The BJP will receive an appropriate response from the people in the coming days,” Dhanda asserted.

Dhanda further claimed that the BJP’s harassment is not limited to AAP leaders but extends to shutting down the party’s Instagram handles and those of its supporters in Gujarat. “This is an attempt to suppress our freedom of expression. They do not want AAP to voice its concerns for the nation,” he said.

He alleged that the BJP is plotting to eliminate AAP, a scheme that is already in motion. However, he emphasized that AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal’s commitment to providing essential services like electricity, health, and education cannot be thwarted. “No matter how much the BJP blocks our social media handles or plots against us, AAP will continue to thrive,” he stated.

In response to accusations made by Chadha against AAP, Dhanda drew parallels with historical figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Subhas Chandra Bose, who chose struggle over compromise during British rule. “The nation remembers those who choose the path of struggle, not betrayal,” he remarked. He warned that when Chadha returns to Punjab, he will face the consequences of his actions, as the people of Punjab cannot tolerate betrayal.

Dhanda expressed confidence that Chadha’s membership in Delhi would also be revoked, predicting a grim future for him in Punjab. “The people of Punjab can endure many things, but they will never accept traitors. The departure of traitors will only strengthen our party,” he concluded.

Additionally, Dhanda addressed the recent departure of Ashok Mittal from AAP, following an ED raid at his residence. He questioned whether this incident highlights the fear instilled by the BJP. “We had claimed that this raid was orchestrated at Raghav Chadha’s behest, part of a scheme to weaken our party,” he said.

He asserted that those who have left AAP lacked public support and emphasized that if they are leaving on principled grounds, they should first resign from their Rajya Sabha memberships. “The way they joined the BJP, I can assure you that the BJP will not accept them either,” Dhanda concluded.
