Mumbai, May 18: Actor Anupam Kher frequently shares his thoughts on social media. On Monday, he expressed his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to conserve fuel and adopt sustainable travel methods by posting a video on Instagram.
In the video, Kher encouraged everyone to heed the Prime Minister’s advice, stating, “Hello friends, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the public to make efforts to save petrol and diesel. Additionally, wherever possible, everyone should use public transport.”
He further emphasized, “We should avoid taking our cars for short distances and make small changes in our daily lives to contribute to the nation. I believe he is absolutely right, and keeping this in mind, I am traveling from Jaipur to Delhi on the Vande Bharat train.”
The actor explained that this is not a significant sacrifice, but if everyone makes small efforts, it will benefit us in the long run. He remarked, “In today’s world, being a responsible citizen means not just talking but also making small changes in our habits.”
Kher added, “For instance, if two people can travel in one car, why should two separate cars be used? I believe serving the country is not limited to borders.”
