Anupam Kher Reminisces with Amitabh Bachchan in Heartwarming Video

Anupam Kher shares a nostalgic video with Amitabh Bachchan, recalling their fun moments during a show rehearsal in London.

Mumbai, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently shared a delightful video with legendary star Amitabh Bachchan, taking a trip down memory lane. The clip features the two icons enjoying a playful moment during a rehearsal for their show in London. In the video, Kher attempts to parody Bachchan, who playfully advises him on singing in tune.

On Monday, Kher posted this nostalgic footage on his official Instagram account, showcasing both actors singing a parody version of the famous song “Sochenge Tumhe Pyaar” from the film “Deewana.” Their camaraderie and playful banter reminded fans of their cherished past.

Reflecting on the memories, Kher noted that Bachchan was doing his best to help him find the rhythm while he attempted a humorous song about bald individuals. He described the clip as a glimpse into their joyful rehearsal for the spectacular “Jumma Chumma” show in London, expressing his delight at seeing Bachchan have so much fun. Kher referred to the 1980s and 1990s as the “golden era of Hindi cinema,” emphasizing the deep connection and warmth shared among people during that time.

Kher, who began his film career in 1984, reminisced about the earlier years, stating that while he can’t speak from personal experience about them, the 80s and 90s will always hold a special place in his heart. He recalled the love, affection, and ease that characterized that era, where hard work was balanced with laughter.

He remarked that Hindi cinema felt like a family, and one of the most valuable lessons he learned from Bachchan was to always keep his sense of humor alive. Kher reflected on how those moments shaped him into the person he is today. He feels fortunate to have been part of both eras, recognizing that while love still exists among people today, those days hold a uniquely special significance for him.

As he watched the video, Kher felt transported back to that rehearsal, where he was earnestly searching for his rhythm. He tagged Bachchan in his post, reminiscing fondly, “What wonderful days they were!”
