Mumbai, May 12: Actor Anshuman Pushkar is gearing up for the release of the upcoming Hindi original web series ‘Satrangi – Badle Ka Khel.’ This series is a revenge drama set against the backdrop of rural Uttar Pradesh.
The narrative revolves around Bablu Mahato (played by Pushkar), who is compelled by circumstances to adopt his father’s profession as a ‘launda dancer,’ often viewed negatively by society. Under the guise of this profession, he plots revenge against the family that has devastated his life.
Elaborating on his character, Pushkar stated, “Bablu is someone who has always been overlooked by the world, but this neglect has allowed him to understand his surroundings deeply. He lives a dual life as ‘Bablu’ and ‘Lalli,’ which is his true strength, enabling him to navigate both worlds.”
He emphasized that the series is not only emotionally profound but also psychologically complex.
Actor Kumud Mishra commented on the series, noting that the world of ‘Satrangi – Badle Ka Khel’ is intricate. Power dynamics do not follow a straightforward path; instead, they are entangled in complex equations.
