Mumbai, April 23: Popular Bhojpuri actress Anjana Singh is ready to captivate her fans with the film ‘Chatori Bahu-2’. The makers officially announced the world television premiere of the film on Thursday.
The film’s poster was shared on Instagram, revealing the broadcast date and time. The poster gives a glimpse of the film and its characters.
The announcement stated, “Catch the world television premiere of the Bhojpuri film ‘Chatori Bahu-2’. It will air on April 25, Saturday at 6:30 PM and April 26, Sunday at 9:30 AM on the B4U Bhojpuri channel.”
Directed by Ishtiyaq Sheikh Bunty, ‘Chatori Bahu-2’ is produced by Sandeep Singh, with the screenplay written by Arvind Tiwari. The film features Anjana Singh alongside Prashant Singh, Lado Madhesiya, Jyoti Mishra, Sonali Mishra, Amar Kush, Amit Shukla, Roopa Singh, Prakash Jais, C.P. Bhatt, and Sapna Yadav.
In the film, Anjana’s character gains recognition throughout the district through her culinary skills that begin in the home kitchen. However, her journey is not without challenges. Anjana portrays a woman skilled in household chores and cooking, who keeps the family engaged with delicious dishes. Yet, when it comes to enrolling her daughter in a private school, the entire family hesitates due to the high fees. This situation deeply troubles Anjana, prompting her to consider using her talents to save money for her child’s admission to a good school.
This family drama promises to offer Bhojpuri audiences a blend of domestic relationships, emotions, and entertainment. It is a sequel to the 2024 aired film ‘Chatori Bahu’, where Smriti Sinha played the role of the daughter-in-law.
