Andhra Pradesh High Court Offers 10 District Judge Positions, Applications Open Until October 15

Amaravati, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : The Andhra Pradesh High Court has opened an exciting opportunity for those seeking employment in the judiciary. The General Administration Department of the Andhra Pradesh government has issued an official notification inviting applications for ten entry-level district judge positions within the Andhra Pradesh State Judicial Service.

These ten vacancies include two in the Open Category/Unreserved (OC), two for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), one for Backward Classes-B (BC-B), one for Backward Classes-C (BC-C), one for Backward Classes-E (BC-E), one for Scheduled Castes Group-III (SC), and two for Scheduled Tribes (ST).

The application process for the district judge positions began on September 30 and will close on October 15. Candidates interested in applying are advised to complete their registration by 5 PM on the final day.

Applicants must hold a law degree from a recognized institution or university and have at least seven years of practice as a lawyer or experience in judicial service.

The age criteria for applicants set a minimum age of 35 years and a maximum of 45 years, calculated as of September 1, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

When filling out the application, candidates must pay the prescribed fee based on their category. The fee is set at ₹1,500 for OC/BC/EWS applicants and ₹750 for SC/ST candidates and those with benchmark disabilities.

Selection will be based on a computer-based screening test, a written examination, and an oral interview. Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹1,44,840 to ₹1,94,660.
