Andhra Pradesh High Court Announces Recruitment for 119 Civil Judge Positions

Amaravati, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : The Andhra Pradesh High Court has opened applications for 119 Civil Judge (Junior Division) positions, providing a significant opportunity for job seekers. The official notification details that 96 of these openings will be filled through direct recruitment, while 23 positions will be filled via transfer.

Among the 96 direct recruitment roles, there are specific allocations for various categories. This includes 39 positions for open competition, with a breakdown of 13 for women, and additional slots for candidates with disabilities. There are also 9 positions reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and various quotas for backward classes and Scheduled Castes and Tribes.

The 23 transfer positions consist of 18 for open competition, alongside 1 for SC Group-I, 1 for SC Group-III, and 3 for ST candidates.

The online application process began on October 1, 2026, and will remain open until October 26, 2026. Interested candidates should visit the official Andhra Pradesh High Court website to complete their registration before the deadline.

Applicants must possess a law degree from a recognized institution or university. The age limit for direct recruitment is set at 35 years, while candidates applying for transfer positions can be up to 48 years old, based on the cutoff date of September 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates from reserved categories.

When filling out the application, candidates must pay the required fee online. The fee is set at ₹1,500 for the open category/EWS/backward classes, and ₹750 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Selection will be based on application screening, a computer-based screening test, written exams, oral tests, and the final merit list. Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹77,840 to ₹1,36,520.
