Mumbai, March 2: Punjabi singer and film actor Amy Virk has shared alarming news amid the ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel-America. His family is currently trapped in the United Arab Emirates. As a father and husband, he is deeply concerned for their safety and has appealed for prayers on social media.
Virk expressed his fears through a heartfelt social media post. His wife and six-year-old daughter are unable to return to India from the UAE. He wrote on Instagram, “The situation in the UAE is weighing heavily on my heart. My wife and daughter are there, and as a husband and father, it’s natural to feel emotional and stressed during such times. Hearing my daughter say, ‘Daddy, if something happens, I will hide under my bed. I am a very strong girl, Daddy, don’t worry,’ is not something any father wants to hear.”
Every news report personally troubles him. “No matter how strong we try to appear in public life, in the end, we are all family people,” he added.
Amy has urged prayers for all families caught in such difficult circumstances, separated from their loved ones. In another post, he stated, “I know many other families are going through this fear and anxiety. My prayers are not just for my loved ones but for everyone affected by this crisis.”
He also expressed gratitude towards the government, acknowledging the efforts of both nations in ensuring safety. He wrote, “I appreciate the efforts made by the UAE authorities and government. From what I have learned, they are working tirelessly to ensure the safety and support of people during this challenging time.”
Virk concluded by praying for the safe return of all families.
