
Mumbai, August 10: The 18th season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” is set to begin, featuring two major Bollywood stars. Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan are appearing on the show to promote their upcoming film “Bantwara 1947.”
A promotional clip has surfaced, showcasing a humorous exchange between Amitabh Bachchan and Sunny Deol that has sparked discussions on social media. In the promo, Amitabh poses an intriguing question to Sunny: “Sunny, I want to ask you something. This is the 18th season. What have you been doing all this time? Why haven’t you joined us?”
Sunny smiles at the question and responds candidly, admitting that he has always been quite scared of the show. He says, “I was very scared of the show. I have to think about it.”
In a light-hearted manner, Aamir Khan chimes in, “Sir, I’ve been here 6-7 times.” Sunny quickly retorts, “He doesn’t think, I do.” Amitabh can’t help but smile at the banter between the two stars.

The film’s trailer has already been released, revolving around a family whose lives are drastically altered by the violence, fear, and forced migration during the partition. The family faces a significant challenge in preserving their relationships and lives during such turbulent times.
“Bantwara 1947” is particularly noteworthy as it marks Preity Zinta’s return to the big screen after nearly eight years. The film is a cinematic adaptation of renowned writer Asgar Wajahat’s acclaimed play “Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya, O Jamya E Nai.”
