
Bhopal, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Central Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will participate as the chief guest at the Livestock Conference in Bhopal on October 3, 2026. The event will take place at Dashahara Maidan, where he will also inaugurate a state-level exhibition on the Justice Code. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is expected to attend the conference as well.
At the beginning of the program, Shah will unveil the exhibition focused on the Justice Code. Following this, he will review sections showcasing the achievements of the Madhya Pradesh police in implementing the new judicial code.
During the event, a memorandum of understanding will be exchanged between Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited and the Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board for developing urban forests under the Morvan Project. Additionally, Shah will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several significant projects related to the dairy and cooperative sectors, distributing various benefits to attendees.
Shah will digitally lay the foundation for a milk processing plant in Ujjain, which will have a capacity of 300,000 liters per day and cost ₹255 crore. He will also inaugurate a dairy plant in Bhopal with a capacity of 40,000 liters per day, developed at a cost of ₹16.5 crore.
Furthermore, Shah will inaugurate a state-of-the-art central laboratory in Bhopal, built at a cost of ₹12.42 crore. He will also digitally inaugurate the strengthening of a mini dairy plant in Shivpuri, which has an investment of ₹6.5 crore. These initiatives aim to enhance milk processing capacity and infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh.
During the program, members of the Bhopal and Indore Milk Union will receive bonuses through a single-click distribution method. Additionally, assistance will be provided to gaushalas (cow shelters) using the same method. Members of dairy cooperatives will be honored, and a total of ₹15.10 crore in dividends will be distributed.
The conference will highlight the role of women in livestock farming, with special recognition for “Gaopalak Didis” (women livestock keepers). Two approval letters under the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Kamadhenu Scheme will also be distributed during the event.
