New Delhi, February 14: Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama terrorist attack. He emphasized that terrorism is humanity’s greatest enemy and reaffirmed India’s commitment to its complete eradication.
In a post on the social media platform X, Shah wrote, “I remember and salute our brave soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama terrorist attack. Terrorism is humanity’s greatest enemy, and India is resolutely committed to its complete destruction. The nation will always be indebted to our security forces and agencies for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice in combating terrorism.”
Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, also remembered the martyrs. He posted on X, “A humble tribute to the brave martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice during the horrific terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019. Their unwavering commitment to the motherland, unique bravery, and selfless service will always inspire every citizen.”
Nitin Naveen, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressed his condolences, stating, “A humble tribute to our brave soldiers who attained martyrdom in the Pulwama attack. Their sacrifice for the nation’s defense will always be remembered. Every Indian draws strength and inspiration from their valor.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also paid her respects, writing, “A heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the protection of Mother India in the 2019 Pulwama terrorist attack. The nation will always be indebted to your indomitable courage and valor.”
Earlier, on the anniversary of the Pulwama attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked that the loyalty, determination, and service to the nation of these heroes will forever remain etched in our collective consciousness.
In a post on X, Modi stated, “Remembering the brave heroes who sacrificed their lives in Pulwama on this day in 2019. Their loyalty, determination, and service to the nation will always remain a part of our collective consciousness. Every Indian draws strength from their unwavering courage.”
