Aman Gandhi Reflects on His Journey in Bigg Boss 20: Struggles with Self-Expression

Aman Gandhi discusses his experience on Bigg Boss 20, admitting he struggled to express himself authentically during the show.

Mumbai, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Television actor Aman Gandhi, who recently exited the reality show Bigg Boss 20, has opened up about his experience on the program. He acknowledged that he struggled to express himself adequately during his time in the house.

Gandhi noted that even those who know him well felt they did not see his true personality while he was on the show. He often questioned why he couldn’t behave as he usually does, reflecting on the disconnect between his real self and the persona he projected.

“I couldn’t express myself properly. People who know me well said that somewhere, Aman was missing. The real Aman was not visible in the house. I kept wondering why I couldn’t be the person they liked,” he shared. He attributed his difficulties to the immense pressure, some negativity, and a mix of other factors that overwhelmed his mind during his stay.

Aman spent only five weeks on the show, receiving fewer votes than other nominated contestants, which led to his elimination. He found himself in the bottom three for two consecutive weeks, alongside Mary Kom and Uditi Singh.

This season introduced a lifeline system, giving contestants two extra chances to avoid elimination. However, Aman had already lost his first lifeline in an earlier voting round.

During the show, wildcard contestant Nakul Dhull made comments regarding Aman’s sexual experiences, which made Aman uncomfortable. While he didn’t confront Nakul directly at the time, he later discussed the issue with other housemates. Some contestants questioned why he didn’t oppose Nakul’s remarks when they were made.

Aman Gandhi’s candid reflections reveal the challenges contestants face in reality television, where authenticity can be overshadowed by the pressures of the environment.
