New Delhi : Aviation company Alliance Air is going to start air service between Delhi and Shimla from September 26. Alliance was earlier scheduled to start its direct flight service between Shimla-New Delhi from September 6, but due to rain, these flights could not start from that date.
Alliance Air will continue its air services between Delhi and Shimla on ATR 42-600 aircraft seven days a week, a company statement issued on Wednesday said. The company has fixed the minimum fare for this at ₹2,141 per person. The company has also started online booking for this.
The company said that Alliance Air’s Delhi-Shimla-Delhi airline is being resumed under the Connecting New India vision. According to the company, there will be direct flights between Shimla-Delhi-Shimla throughout the week, the flight which will take off from Delhi at 7:10 am, will reach Shimla at around 8:20 am. Along with this, the flight which will take off from Shimla at 8:50 am will reach Delhi at 10:00 am.
It is noteworthy that due to the Corona epidemic, air service to Shimla is going to start after about two and a half years. This flight of Alliance Air will not only add to the beautiful journey of the mountain, but it will also give new wings to the tourism business. In fact, the Himachal government had been demanding from the central government for a long time to start air service to Shimla.
