Mumbai, May 13: The highly anticipated film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ featuring actor Akshay Kumar is set to hit theaters soon. On Wednesday, the filmmakers heightened fans’ excitement by releasing Akshay Kumar’s latest look, which has generated significant buzz among audiences.
Akshay Kumar shared the first look on Instagram. In the image, he appears stylish and confident. Dressed in a dark suit and sporting sunglasses, he looks striking against a backdrop resembling a dense jungle, confidently striding forward.
In his post, the actor captioned, “Next… Welcome to the Jungle.”
This announcement has sparked considerable enthusiasm among his fans. However, Akshay has not disclosed any further details about the film.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, the comedy-drama ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is the third installment in the ‘Welcome’ franchise. Akshay Kumar returns to the screen in a leading role, joined by a star-studded cast that includes Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rajpal Yadav, and Johnny Lever. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Star Studios and is scheduled for release on June 26.
Notably, this film marks the on-screen reunion of Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon after more than two decades. The last time they appeared together was in ‘Police Force: An Inside Story,’ directed by Dileep Shukla, which depicted the struggles of honest police officers against corruption and crime, featuring Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, and Amrish Puri in key roles.
