New Delhi, May 11: Indian low-cost airline Akasa Air announced on Monday that it will begin daily direct flights from Noida International Airport to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai starting June 16, 2026.
The airline stated that ticket bookings have already commenced on its website, as well as on Android and iOS apps, and several major online travel platforms (OTAs).
In a press release, the airline noted that Noida International Airport, part of India’s new greenfield airports, will play a crucial role in alleviating air traffic pressure in the Delhi-NCR region, enhancing regional connectivity, and promoting economic development across NCR, including western Uttar Pradesh.
Anand Srinivasan, co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, remarked, “India’s aviation market is growing rapidly, making it essential to develop airport infrastructure in the right locations.” He emphasized that the modern facilities, multimodal connectivity, and future capacity of Noida International Airport will transform travel in the NCR.
He added that the introduction of daily direct flights to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai is in response to strong passenger demand and the need for enhanced connectivity.
The airline also mentioned plans to strengthen its domestic and international network from Noida International Airport in the near future.
Additionally, Akasa Air will establish a state-of-the-art MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility at the airport, offering advanced services for aircraft maintenance and repairs, thereby improving operational and safety standards.
According to the airline, flights from Bengaluru to Noida will depart at 4:25 PM and arrive at 7:15 PM. Conversely, flights from Noida to Bengaluru will leave daily at 7:55 PM and reach by 11:00 PM.
Furthermore, flights from Navi Mumbai to Noida will take off at 7:25 AM, arriving at 9:35 AM. Flights from Noida to Navi Mumbai will depart daily at 10:15 AM and arrive at the destination by 12:30 PM.
