Mumbai, May 19: The crime and action-packed web series ‘Inspector Avinash 2′ is currently making waves on OTT platforms. In this series, actress Akanksha Puri portrays the character of Meetu Punjabi, a woman who transitions from being a dancer to becoming a police informant.
Her performance has received widespread acclaim on social media. Recently, Akanksha opened up about her character, her acting experiences, and working alongside Randeep Hooda.
Akanksha Puri stated, “I have long wanted to take on something different and challenging. The role of Meetu Punjabi is fearless, strong, and emotionally profound. This character has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone. As an artist, I discovered my inner strength through this role.”
She added, “Meetu Punjabi brought forth a variety of emotions within me. To portray this role, I had to deeply understand the character’s feelings. This role gave me the opportunity to find a new version of myself.”
Akanksha also praised her co-star Randeep Hooda, saying, “Randeep acts with complete truthfulness and integrity in every scene. Working with him inspires me to perform with greater focus and effort. He brings authenticity to every moment. It has been a special experience working with him, as it allows you to immerse yourself more deeply in your craft.”

During the conversation, Neeraj Pathak remembered the late actor Irrfan Khan. He shared, “I have a long-standing relationship with Irrfan Khan. I worked with him on an old Doordarshan show. At that time, I promised him that whenever I made a film, I would definitely include him.”
Neeraj Pathak directed the film ‘Right or Wrong,’ which featured both Sunny Deol and Irrfan Khan.
