Mumbai, May 19: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur has announced the recruitment of 32 Junior Resident (non-academic) positions on a temporary basis for six months, which may be extended up to a maximum of one year. The vacancies include 15 for Unreserved (UR), 9 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 4 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 2 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 2 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The online application process for these positions began on May 15, and the last date to apply is set for May 29. Candidates interested in these roles can submit their registration forms on the official AIIMS Nagpur portal before the deadline.
Applicants must have completed their MBBS degree (including internship) or possess an equivalent degree recognized by the NMC/state registration. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria and skills relevant to the position.
The maximum age limit for applicants is 30 years, calculated based on the last date of application. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination consisting of multiple-choice questions, followed by interviews, shortlisting, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹56,100, along with other benefits and allowances.
When applying, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹500 for General/EWS and OBC categories, and ₹250 for SC/ST candidates. Visually impaired or disabled applicants are exempt from the registration fee.
