Ahmedabads New Satadhar Flyover Bridge Enhances Connectivity for Millions

Ahmedabad, April 28: The newly inaugurated Satadhar four-lane flyover bridge has significantly improved connectivity for millions in Ahmedabad’s western region. Local residents have expressed gratitude to the state government for this development.

Located at the Satadhar junction in the Ghatlodia area, the flyover has alleviated traffic congestion for the community. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the bridge on March 29, which connects the busy route from Naranpura to Science City. Built at a cost of approximately ₹90 crores, the bridge spans 936 meters in length and 16.60 meters in width. Its opening has not only eased travel for residents but also saved them time and fuel.

Local resident Vishal Upadhyay noted the significant benefits, stating, “We are saving time.” The Chief Minister had proposed the flyover’s construction, which received funding through the ‘Golden Jubilee Chief Minister Urban Development Scheme.’ The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation completed the bridge in record time, much to the delight of local citizens.

Kiritbhai Barot remarked, “This bridge has brought great benefits. It is a blessing for the locals, and we thank the government.” Hardik Shah added, “The government has done excellent work; the traffic problem has been resolved, and we are saving considerable time.”

The Satadhar Flyover Bridge is seen as a crucial step toward improving Ahmedabad’s traffic management. Approximately 150,000 people travel this busy route daily. The flyover’s opening has reduced traffic issues in nearby areas, including Ghatlodia, Sola, Pavapuri, Thaltej, and Chanakyapuri, providing seamless connectivity for millions.
