Mumbai, February 27: Actor Adivi Sesh is set to star alongside Mrunal Thakur in the upcoming film ‘Dakaait.’ The film revolves around an angry criminal seeking revenge for betrayal by his girlfriend. It promises to deliver an emotional and action-packed experience for the audience.
In hopes of a successful box office performance, Adivi recently visited the renowned Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal to seek divine blessings.
Expressing his feelings at the temple, Adivi stated, “Every film begins long before the camera rolls. ‘Dakaait’ has been a special and personal journey for me. I have been connected to its script from the very start.”
The promotion for the film has officially begun. Recently, the makers released a new song titled ‘Roobaroo.’ This romantic track features Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, showcasing the deep emotional connection between their characters. The song is sung by Faheem Abdullah and Chinmayi Sripaada, with lyrics penned by Ritesh Rajwada and music composed by Bhims Cicerolio.
Regarding the song, Adivi shared, “‘Roobaroo’ is special because it captures the emotional vulnerabilities, connections, and the quiet depth between the characters. Before sharing the story with the audience, I wanted to express my gratitude and seek their blessings.”
He further added, “We have poured a lot of hard work and heart into this film. I eagerly await the audience’s reaction when they see it in theaters this April.”
Directed by Shaneel Dev, ‘Dakaait’ features a talented cast including Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Jain Mary Khan, Kamakshi, and Anurag Kashyap. Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Sunil Narang, the film is presented by Annapurna Studios.
