Adani Electricity Lights Up Over 700 Durga Puja and Navratri Pavilions in Mumbai
Adani Electricity provides power to over 700 Durga Puja and Navratri pavilions in Mumbai, ensuring safe celebrations for devotees.

Mumbai, October 17 (Daily Kiran) : Adani Electricity has successfully provided temporary power connections to more than 700 Durga Puja and Navratri pavilions across Mumbai this year. The company emphasized the enthusiasm with which locals are celebrating these festivals.
To enhance safety for devotees, Adani has installed around 850 floodlights at various pavilions. Celebrants enjoyed vibrant Garba festivities at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pavilion located at S.N.D.T. University grounds in Juhu and at the Dharmveer Sambhaji Maidan in Khotwadi, Santacruz West, all illuminated by Adani’s electricity supply.
Understanding the importance of uninterrupted power during these auspicious occasions, Adani Electricity announced organized arrangements for the festivities earlier this month. They ensured that pavilion organizers received temporary power connections within 48 hours of submitting full applications. The company also urged organizers to utilize authorized power connections and adhere to safety standards.
The electricity distribution company aims to guarantee safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power supply during the festive period, as hundreds of pavilions are set up throughout the city. They have advised all organizers to secure authorized power connections and avoid unauthorized electricity use.
Adani Electricity’s preparations for this year’s festivals are based on the arrangements made during the recently concluded Ganeshotsav, where they provided approximately 1,100 temporary power connections to Ganpati pavilions. Last year, the company ensured seamless power supply to over 653 Durga Puja and Navratri pavilions within their distribution network area.
To address any power supply disruptions during the festivals, Adani has deployed a Quick Response Team. This team is on standby to tackle technical issues and restore electricity when necessary. Additionally, the company has issued detailed safety guidelines for pavilion organizers, advising them to hire only licensed electrical contractors for wiring and installations, and to use approved electrical materials and equipment.
