ABVP Holds Rally in Bhopal, Accuses Congress of Instigating Chaos

ABVP organized a rally in Bhopal, urging youth to uphold democracy and accusing Congress of creating instability in India.

Bhopal, October 25 (Daily Kiran) : The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a rally in Bhopal on October 24, advocating for the theme “Stop Chaos, Embrace Democracy.” The demonstration, held on Atal Path, saw a significant turnout of students opposing allegations made by Congress against constitutional institutions.

Participants voiced concerns over a perceived attempt to create turmoil among the youth across the country. One student remarked, “We see efforts to gather youth and manipulate their mindset, creating an atmosphere of chaos. There are constant claims that India will become like Bangladesh, and we have witnessed significant protests in Delhi with calls for a change in power.”

The student emphasized that changes in leadership should occur through the electoral process, not through unrest. “If anyone thinks they can turn this country into Bangladesh or Nepal, they will be opposed by the ABVP and other right-aligned youth organizations,” he asserted.

Virendra Singh Solanki, the national general secretary of ABVP, stated, “The youth of this country stands for preserving democracy, not for creating chaos through issue-based movements. Today, young people across the nation are uniting to recognize and counter the conspiracies aimed at undermining our democracy.”

Another participant, Shubhasini Singh, highlighted the generational gap in perspectives, stating that understanding between older and younger generations is crucial. She noted the progress women have made and stressed the importance of mutual respect and dialogue, especially in light of societal judgments regarding attire.

Addressing comments about India becoming like Nepal or Bangladesh, she argued that India’s diversity is a strength that fosters unity. “If we can remain united despite our differences, there is no need to compare ourselves to Bangladesh. India has always been and will always be India,” she asserted.

Devendra Rawat, president of the District Bar Association in Bhopal, expressed support for the rally, criticizing what he termed a “country-antagonistic gang” funded by external sources to disrupt the nation’s atmosphere. He affirmed that changes in governance will occur through lawful means and not through mass protests. “Those who believe a few thousand people can change power are mistaken; such changes happen through democracy,” he concluded.
