FIR Filed Against YouTuber Elvish Yadav for Allegedly Threatening Witnesses
Ghaziabad, January 28: In a significant development, an FIR has been lodged against prominent YouTuber Elvish Yadav and his associates on charges of threatening a complainant and key witnesses in an ongoing snake venom smuggling case. The case was registered at Nandgram Police Station on Tuesday following an order by the Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division), Pratibha.
The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, which has drawn considerable attention due to the high-profile nature of the accused.

Complaint Filed by Rajnagar Resident Saurabh Gupta
The FIR stems from a petition filed by Saurabh Gupta, a resident of Rajnagar Extension, in the Ghaziabad court. Gupta, along with his brother Gaurav Gupta, is the complainant and key witness in a Noida-based snake venom smuggling case. According to the complaint, Elvish Yadav and his associates are allegedly intimidating them through threats and surveillance of their homes and vehicles.
Saurabh Gupta further alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to either harm them physically or implicate them in false cases.
Social Media Harassment and Fake News Allegations
Guptaโs petition also accuses Yadav and his supporters, who operate under the banner of โElvish Armyโ on social media, of spreading false news and videos against him and his brother. He claims these defamatory posts have created a hostile environment, forcing him to deactivate his Facebook account due to fear and harassment.
The allegations extend to claims of targeted harassment through online campaigns, which Gupta asserts are aimed at undermining their credibility as witnesses in the snake venom smuggling case.
Allegations of Surveillance and Threats
In the petition, Gupta referred to an incident on May 10, 2024, where Yadav and his associates allegedly entered his residential society in three to four vehicles and conducted surveillance. CCTV footage reportedly captured the vehicles involved, which included a black Jaguar and a black Fortuner.
Gupta expressed fears for his safety, citing the possibility of an attack akin to the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. He emphasized the seriousness of the threats and urged authorities to ensure their security.
Court-Ordered FIR
After reviewing the evidence and hearing the case, the court directed the Nandgram police to file an FIR. On Tuesday, a formal complaint was registered against Elvish Yadav, Lakshya Kaushik, and Luvkesh Kataria.
The courtโs intervention highlights the gravity of the allegations and the need for a thorough investigation to ensure the safety of the complainants and the integrity of the legal proceedings.
Police Investigation Underway
Following the FIR, the police have begun examining the evidence, including CCTV footage and social media activity, to corroborate Guptaโs allegations. Law enforcement officials have assured that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure a fair investigation.
The case underscores the growing concerns over the misuse of social media platforms for harassment and the need for strict legal measures to curb such activities.
Legal Ramifications for Elvish Yadav
Elvish Yadav, a well-known YouTuber with a massive fan following, now faces serious legal scrutiny. If proven guilty, the charges could have significant implications for his career and public image. The allegations of orchestrating online harassment and threatening witnesses in a legal case are likely to tarnish his reputation and could lead to stringent legal consequences.
