MAJOR APURVA DABHADE, 61 CAVALRY QUALIFIES FOR ASIAN GAMES

Jaipur : Major Apurva Dabhade, of 61 Cavalry has qualified to represent India at the upcoming Asian Games in China.

The selection process was rigorous and spanned over five months, with four selection trials held across India. Major Apurva Dabhade demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication during the four trials conducted in India thereby solidifying his place in the national team. The official announcement of the team would be promulgated by the Equestrian Federation of India.

The Asian Games is a major international multi-sport event that takes place every four years. This year’s games are scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China from 23 Sept to 08 October 2023, and will feature athletes from across the continent competing in a wide range of sports. The other riders that have qualified in the Eventing team are Dfr Vikas Kumar from RVC, Mr Ashish Limaye and Mr Raju Singh.
