Udaipur : Hindustan Zinc under its Khushi Project organized Baal Mela across 265 Anganwadi Centres where more than 6000 children and their parents from across 5 districts including Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer,Rajsamand, and Udaipur came together to celebrate the little, tiny tots and their joyful spirits.
As part of the celebrations, Baal Mela was organized which witnessed fun activities like dance, poem recitation and fancy dress. The tiny tots actively participated in all the activities with great ardour and joy. Additionally, keeping in mind the interests of different age groups, several sports events such as hit the pyramid, jalebi race, lemon race were conducted to cheer up the athletic spirit among the young ones.
Khushi Anganwadi programme aims to enhance early childhood intervention across 3,145 Anganwadi centres in five districts of Rajasthan. It is further continuously touching the lives of more than 1,60,000 children across 2400 villages in 5 districts of Rajasthan by actively working on improving health & nutrition, imparting preschool learning, and community engagement.
