Kolkata, April 20 : West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday appealed to Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar from the Bengal Global Business summit (BGBS) platform that the cooperation of the Centre should be sought so that the industrialists do not face any difficulty in doing business in Bengal. Speaking at BGBS, Banerjee said, “Bengal means business. You come. Do business here. The government is always there. My only goal is employment. Our youth comm ty is very talented. Bengali children are working in different sectors all over the world. If you do business here, you will see that we all, all religions live together like a family.” “When you come to Bengal, you will know that you are a member of our family. My journey in industrial development started today,” she said. The chief minister said, “We always follow the two sister policy. On one hand there will be development of industry. Besides, she will laugh in the field of agriculture.” “We have built world class infrastructure. Our team believes in women empowerment,” said Banerjee in front of the industrialists. “Our focus is on investors so that they can do business easily.” No ban support. So that no industrialist gets in the way of doing business,” she said. The chief minister said the conference is taking place after two years and thanked all for coming to the conference. “We are the first state to hold a trade conference after Covid. The government of Bengal is gradually advancing. The sun is rising in Bengal. Every morning a new Bengal is emerging,” said the chief minister. She said that West Bengal was the first state whose government had overcome the situation and returned to industry and trade, hosted a business conference. We are the only party which has 38% women members in Parliament,” she said. In line with Industrialist Gautam Adani’s words, Banerjee spoke on the progress of Bengali girls on the stage of the business conference Bengal is the best in the country in terms of social security. We are number one in e-tender from paddy production. Banerjee said revenue has increased by 4 percent. Bengal is bordered by several neighbouring countries.
