Ranchi, April 13 : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday said that the state government is committed to provide quality based higher and technical education to the youth of the state. Chairing a high-level review meeting over the Higher and Technical Education Department he directed the officials to make sure that the work is executed step by step in a time-bound manner. He said that such a mechanism should be developed so that all parameters can be effectively implemented. The Chief Minister asked the officials to regularly visit the Polytechnic and higher technical institutions in the state and also directed them to fill up the vacant posts in higher and technical institutions of the state. He said that the state government will organise a special session of the assembly and will take steps to solve the problems in the education sector. He said that solving the problems of the versities, schools, higher and technical education institutions and medical colleges is a priority for the state. The Chief Minister directed the officials to take all necessary steps including preparation for appointment roaster, acts etc. He said that the buildings of all the Polytechnic colleges and equipment should be improved. He further asked the officials to make sure that all the machines which have been set up for the students are used. He asked the officials to make sure that seats in the government Polytechnic colleges are not vacant and hundred per cent seats are vacant. He said that officials should visit the Dumka campus of Techno India and organise Siksha Adalat. He said that in the state the newly opened versities should be functioning on time. MORE AK KK ARN
