CM KCR deserves to be included in Guinness Book of World Records for his lies: BJP President

Hyderabad, April 12 : Telangana State BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday said the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (known as KCR) deserved to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records for his lies and betrayal of his promises. Addressing a convention of Backward Classes Intellectuals at RTC Kalayana Mandapam here, Sanjay stated that the BJP was against religion-based reservations and it was the BJP who had strongly opposed the inclusion of Muslims in the BC list and providing them four per cent reservation. He alleged that the so-called BC associations and leaders were sold out to the rulers and had not uttered a word against it. Accusing KCR of polluting the BC welfare associations, Sanjay said gone were the days when BC voters exercised their franchise as per the directions of their leaders. “We would not have won the four MP seats had the caste-based associations influenced the voters,” he said. Alleging that KCR had never implemented the promises he had given to the BCs since he came to power in 2014, he said that the CM cheated the BCs with empty promises after garnering their votes in 2014 and 2018 elections. He has proved himself a liar and cheater,” he said. The BJP President demanded that the state government introduce BC Bandhu scheme on the lines of Dalit Bandhu. More than 5.50 lakh BCs have applied for loans on subsidy and have been waiting for the same for the last four years. Though budgetary allocations are being made, not a single rupee has been released,” he alleged. Even the MBC (Most Backward Classes ) Corporation formed in 2017 has become a defunct organisation, as more than Rs 3,000 crore allocated to the same was not spent in the last four years. “Now there is a demand for inclusion of another 15 castes in the MBC category. But the government has turned a blind eye towards them,” he alleged. Sanjay pointed out that the reservations for BCs in the local bodies had been reduced from 34 per cent to 18 per cent. “Only three BCs were inducted into the cabinet, though they account for 50 per cent of the total population,” he added.
