Kolhapur, April 3 : NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday alleged that BJP was trying to create a divide in the society and also said the ‘The Kashmir Files’ was not ‘factually correct’. Talking to reporters here, Pawar said the film was not based on truth and the movie was narrating a false history of Kashmiri Pandits. Talking about a rise in fuel prices, Pawar said he was seeing petrol and diesel prices increasing on a daily basis for the first time. He said he would not accept any offer to become President from Congress and its allies, but he would cooperate to bring all opposition parties together to make democracy stronger. Reacting to Nav Nirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray’s allegation in ‘Gudhi Padva’ rally that NCP was trying to raise communal malice, the NCP leader said he does not take his statements “seriously”. He should check NCP’s history before giving such statements. Our policy has been to take everyone along; not to divide the society,” he added. SSS GK SY 1504
