Mumbai, March 26 : Delhi Capitals overseas pacer Anrich Nortje has been allowed to join Delhi Capitals camp after he was cleared of any serious injury. A hip injury had ruled Nortje out of the Test series against India and New Zealand. The good news for DC came after Cricket South Africa’s chief medical officer Shuaib Manjra said that the Protean pacer will continue to complete his rehab in the IPL. “We did a range of Tests on Anrich and ruled out any serious injury. We felt safe enough to have Anrich do his rehab in India and his return to play in India. We have ruled out the stress fracture of the back,” Manjra said on Saturday. Nortje was set to miss the first few games for Delhi Capitals, but his recovery will do good for the side. BDN SHK2240
