Oppn will face defeat in no-confidence motion: Pak PM

Islamabad, March 23 : Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said the Opposition parties will face defeat in the no-confidence motion and that he would not resign under any circumstances. Talking to the media in Islamabad, he said the Opposition have laid all of their cards, but the no-confidence motion against him would not be successful. Khan also denied to resign under any pressure. “I will not resign under any circumstances. I will play till the last ball and I will surprise them a day before, as they are still under pressure,” Geo News quoted him as saying. However, he did not divulge any details. Pakistan National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has summoned the session for the no-confidence motion on March 25. Khan said he would not compromise on corruption under any circumstances and also accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz ( PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) of doing politics of “corruption”. “No one should be under the false impression that I will sit at home. I will not resign, and why should I ? Should I resign due to the pressure from thieves?,” he added. GK RJ
