Agartala, Mar 16 : The Bangladesh government has relaxed the compulsory provision of RT-PCR test for entering into that country through land ports and said those who have two doses of vaccine won’t need RT-PCR for entering the country from Thursday, officials here said on Wednesday. The latest comm cation to visa authorities of Bangladesh in the country apprised the decision and stated Indian citizens can get entry into Bangladesh by producing the certificate of double doses Covid19 vaccine. And, in the case of the Jonson and Jonson vaccine, one dose is enough. The movement of Indians through check-posts of Tripura has been restricted due to the Covid19 pandemic since April 2020 and recently after the improvement of the situation, passenger movements have been allowed but were not liberal like earlier. Even recipients of the double dose vaccine had to carry an RT-PCR negative report for entering into Bangladesh – from now onwards, it’s not required, the officials stated. BB RN
