Lucknow, March 14 : Former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya on Monday congratulated the maker of “The Kashmir Files”, Vivek Agnihotri and his team and said that to understand how much pain Kashmiri Pandits have suffered in free India people must watch the movie. In a series of tweets, Maurya said: “The Kashmir Files is not merely a movie, but a strong statement describing the pain of Kashmiri Pandits. Deeply disturbed by feeling the pain of Kashmiri Pandits through the scenes of the movie. ‘Vote Bank’ politics has caused so much loss to the country.” He said: “The Kashmir Files is a heart-wrenching movie. The pain of Kashmiri Pandits and the pain of Mother India will calm down only when the Kashmiri Pandits resettle in Kashmir safely. My appeal to all must see the movie. Congratulations to the movie director Vivek Agnihotri and his team.” AB ING
