4 terror associates of JeM arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, March 13 : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday claims to have arrested four active associates of proscribed “terror outfit” Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) in Pulwama, officials said. Police said that four active associates of JeM who were actively participating with the outfit and were providing them with logistics, transportation and other facilities for commissioning of militant acts in the district were arrested in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The arrested “terrorist associates” have been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Rather, son of Mohammad Shaban Rather a resident of Chewa Kallan, Naseer Ahmad Malik (Madrasa administrator), son of Abdul Hamid Malik, a resident of Wasoora, Rayees Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, resident of Khanpora Newa and Yawar Rashid Ganai, son of Abdul Rashid Ganai, resident of Gudoora Pulwama, police said. Two “terrorists” of proscribed terror outfit JeM were neutralized in an operation in Chewa Kallan and one “terrorist” was also apprehend yesterday. Further investigation in the cases is going on. “Four (04) active associates of JeM arrested by Pulwama Police who were actively associated with the JeM outfit providing them logistic, transportation & other facilities for commission of militant acts”, Police in a tweet said.
