Goa CM calls on PM

Panaji, March 8 : Ahead of counting of votes polled for Assembly elections in Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. In a tweet, Dr Sawant said he briefed the Prime Minister about the strong performance of Bharatiya Janata Party in the state Assembly polls, which were held on February 14. ”Called on Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji in New Delhi today. Briefed the PM about BJP’s strong performance in Goa Assembly Polls 2022 which will provide us the opport ty to form the Govt in the State once again with people’s blessings. Under his dynamic leadership and guidance, we will continue to work for people’s welfare,” he said in a tweet. BJP has contested all 40 seats in these Assembly elections. Counting of votes in Goa will be held on March 10. Earlier, while leaving for Delhi, the Chief Minister had expressed confidence that BJP will get majority and form government on its own.
