Kolkata, Mar 8 : Suspended BJP leader Jay Prakash Majumdar on Tuesday joined West Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress in the presence of the chief minister and party supremo Mamata Banerjee. The senior BJP leader was suspended from the saffron brigade in the last week of January for alleged anti-party activities. Majumdar, who was immediately inducted into the ruling party’s state committee, received the Trinamool flag from senior leaders Partha Chatterjee and Firhad Hakim.
