Itanagar, Mar 3 : Fourteen more persons have tested positive for Covid19 in Arunachal Pradesh during the past 24 hours, pushing the state’s overall case tally to 64,453, a senior health official said on Thursday. On the other hand, 21 others have recuperated from the disease, taking the total number of recoveries to 64,065. With this, the state’s active case tally has further plummeted to 92, which comprised 0.14 per cent of the total infections. Tawang accounted for the most cases at six, followed by Lower Subansiri at two, while one case each came from Itanagar Capital Complex, East Siang, Leparada, Lohit, Pakke Kessang and West kameng. Eleven of the total cases were found to be asymptomatic and three symptomatic. The day’s positivity rate was 3.6 per cent, which stood at 4.6 per cent the previous day. Arunachal Pradesh’s Covid recovery rate currently stands at 99.40 per cent. The state’s death toll remained at 296 as no cases of fresh fatality were reported in the last 24 hours, the official said.
