Varun Beverages gains on incorporating new company ‘Varun Beverages RDC SAS’

Varun Beverages is currently trading at Rs. 889.00, up by 4.00 points or 0.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 885.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 905.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 905.00 and Rs. 887.80 respectively. So far 5311 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1020.00 on 09-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 570.00 on 28-Jan-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 905.00 and Rs. 832.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 38323.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.49% and 6.62% respectively.

Varun Beverages has incorporated a new company namely ‘Varun Beverages RDC SAS’ in the Democratic Republic of Congo to carry on the business of manufacturing, selling, trading and distribution of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. This will help the company to expand its operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The company is franchisee of CSDs and NCBs sold under trademarks owned by PepsiCo in India and internationally.
