The Sankalp Patra, as it is called, was released in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP Working President Jagat Prakash Nadda, State Unit Chief Chandrakant Patil and other leaders. Among other things in the manifesto, the BJP has promised to create one crore jobs for the people in the state.
Some key promises in the 16-point Sankalp Patra by the BJP include making state drought-free in coming years, a Marathwada Water Grid will be made by joining 11 dams, five Lakh Crore rupees investment in infrastructure, introducing preventive and curative health care in state. In addition, ambit of scholarships and financial support is to be increased in education, homes to all homeless by 2022, workers to be brought under social security net, independent mechanisms for permanent repair and maintenance of all roads to be created through the Chief Minister’s Gram Sadak Yojana.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis while speaking at the launch of the manifesto said after elections, the party will take the PMC Bank issue to the Centre. He said the party will request the Centre to help depositors get their money back and added he will personally be following up the matter.
