Hamirpur (HP), April 3 : Forty-five pilgrims were injured including six seriously when a private canter vehicle overturned near Harinagar village of Una district on Sunday evening. The pilgrims were returning to their native village of Maukhey in the Phillaur area of Punjab after paying their obeisance at the World famous temple of Baba Balak Nath at Deotsidh in Hamirpur district when this fatal incident took place. Locals who received the information about the accident took part in the relief and rehabilitation program and also informed the police about the incident. Prem Pal Sharma, the SHO of the local police station said that all injured have been admitted to the Thana Kalan hospital for treatment. Out of the pilgrims, six are serious and have been shifted to the Una hospital for treatment. He said that a case of accident had been registered and further investigation was on. /CSS RKM
