4 schools in Bengaluru receive bomb threat via mail

Bengaluru, April 8 : People in Karnataka went into a tizzy after four schools here received a bomb threat through emails here on Friday. “Four city schools have received bomb threat through unknown emails sent to them. The police have been pressed into service to find out if bombs have been planted or not. More information will be shared after thorough checking,” Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant told reporters here. Among four schools that have received bomb threat includes Ebinezer and Vincent Palotile international schools. “A powerful bomb has been planted in your school. It is not a joke. A very powerful bomb has been planted in your school. Immediately call the police and sappers. Otherwise, hundreds of lives may suffer, including yours. Don’t delay. Everything is in your hands,” emails sent to these schools read. BDN SY 1318
