Kyiv, March 10 : Three people were killed in the overnight strikes in the Sumy region, officials confirmed on Thursday. Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytsky said that residential areas and a gas pipeline were hit at about 0030 hours(local time) while the regional capital Sumy and the village of Bytytsia were also bombed, he stated as reported by BBC. Zhyvytsky added that three humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians are expected to open from 0900 hours (local time). On Wednesday, about 5,000 people were evacuated from the region. JNA
