Panaji, April 8 : As many as 21 people lost their lives in road accidents in February this year, a government data revealed on Friday. According to the statistics released by Transport Department, there were 251 road accidents out of which 21 were fatal (North Goa 7 and South Goa 14), 14 grievous accidents (North Goa 7 and South Goa 7), 41 minor accidents (North Goa 18 and South Goa 23) and 175 non – onjury accidents (North Goa 97and South Goa 78). Out of the total number of persons who lost their lives in road accidents 15 were riders, two pillion riders, three pedestrians and one passenger. A total 1740 Challans were issued by Transport authorities in the month of February 2022. AKM RKM
