Srinagar, March 23 : A cop and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was wounded in a grenade attack in Srinagar on Wednesday evening, Police said. They said a grenade was lobbed towards the joint deployment of Police and CRPF at Zindshah chowk of Rainawari at about 8:15 pm. “In this terror incident, a Police personnel and CRPF jawan got splinter injuries and were shifted to nearby hospital for the treatment of their injuries,”a police spokesman said. Senior Police officers immediately reached the spot. “Area has been cordoned and search in the area is going on.” it added. Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of law and investigation is in progress.
